Shay was a fantastic help as I was trying to replace all of my office equipment. She was highly knowledgeable and listened carefully to my needs. There were two sets of customers waiting for assistance. This is why I only give 4 instead of 5. Shay tried calling over the radio several times to get service to those customers instead of leaving them without service. She apologized to then several times. She attempted 3 times to call the team but no one answered her call for backup on the floor. She was trying not to leave me but I encouraged her to serve the other customers who happened to be African American. As a minority, I know how important it is to see that you are receiving the same level of service as others and how not receiving timely service can be misinterpreted and have a challenging sociological impact. Advice to management - if you have 3 people covering an area make sure to keep 2 on the floor at all times and stagger breaks. It appeared that one was on break and the other unaccounted for. However, I also commend you for looking for more help. They did have a help wanted sign outside. I still highly recommend BEST BUY. Be patient with them. They are friendly and knowledgeable but currently understaffed.
